Bruce Shulkey Elementary Help Day - Saturday, June 5th at 9:00AM

Help teachers at Bruce Shulkey Elementary pack school supplies as they prepare for a summer remodel project and a busy school year serving kids. Meet at the school offices (5533 Whitman Avenue, FTW, TX 76133) at 9:00AM on Saturday, June 5th and be ready to work! We'll be moving furniture & packing with teachers! Center of Hope - Friday & Saturday, June 4th & 5th at 9:00AM

Your assistance is needed to collect household items, baked goods and help at this fundraiser/sale benefiting the Center of Hope. High quality household items/clothing are needed. Neighborhood Needs Volunteer Day- Saturday, June 19th at 8:30AM

Help Altamesa Church of Christ & Neighborhood Needs (6717 S. Hulen at the corner of Hulen and Altamesa) serve needy Fort Worth families food and clothing. Neighborhood Nees & LifeChurch.tv Volunteers served 25,000 people in 2009. On this day, you'll have a chance to engage with needy families, serve food and clothing and find out how you can help families in the future through Neighborhood Needs. The Lost Boys Film - Thursday, June 24th at 7:00PM

Watch a film called The Lost Boys about the children of Sudanese civil war and the resettlement of 4,000 refugee children in the U.S. You will find out about opportunities to serve refugees in the Fort Worth area, including the cook out night and a refugee training night in July. The film will start at 7pm at the Catholic Charities offices, located at 249 W. Thornhill Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76115. All you need to do is show up! Foster Parent Appreciation Night - Friday, June 25th from 6:00PM - 8:30PM

Volunteers are partnering together to put on an appreciation night for Foster Parents to celebrate their success from this past year. Volunteers will be helping out by spending time with foster kids and teens at the FTW campus while parents are honored with a dinner and program.

6:00pm - 6:30PM Volunteers arrive
6:30pm - 7:00PM Welcome foster families
7:00pm - 8:00PM Mingle with parents, play with kids and teens
8:00pm - 8:15PM Wrap up and help families out to their vehicles

Catholic Charities Cookout - Saturday, July 3rd at 6:30PM

Help Catholic Charities put on a cookout at Fountain Apartments (across from LC) for neighborhood refugee families at the Fountain Apartments. You'll be hanging out with refugee families, serving food, playing with kids and building relationships. Women will help refugee women make jewelry to sell. You'll also find out about other opportunities to serve others in the Fort Worth area. Meet in the lobby of the FTW campus at 6:00PM on July 3rd.
